Everything went well this morning with our level 2 ultrasound. Zoey was a mover and shaker so the tech had difficulties getting measurements but in the end got everything they needed. She is measuring right on track and weighs 10 oz. I got a little nervous because when she measured my cervix she did it through my stomach and it was measuring 2.7. I know for sure that wall one will consist of magnetic paint under a layer of chalkboard paint. I should probably add Josh’s Dad and Step-Mom are buying the crib. They sent a check yesterday. This is very nice of them considering Josh and his dad don’t have the closest relationship but he did it for his oldest son and I think he thinks he had to do it for the other two. I am complaining though, I am very grateful for any help we receive.

I went in for my cervical length check on Sat and the good news is my placenta seems to be moving upwards. The not so good news is my cervix is shortening. It is still within normal range but not as long as it was last time. I have to go and see a specialist this Friday to get his...

Last night after working all weekend I just wanted to come home and snuggle with Barkley. He had other plans that included getting on my very last nerve. When I finally did fall asleep I dreamt about attacking an old neighbor of mine. I grabbed her by the hair and arms and was pushing her around. WTF! I don’t even have any ill feelings about her. The clinic just called and my beta is 1052 and progesterone is 28.7. They’ll have me come in for the same blood work on Thursday and Saturday to ensure that the levels continue to rise. Feeling so incredibly grateful!

It’s weird, my baby bump has gotten smaller. I think all of my bloating went away so now its just baby. I wonder if some of my jeans will fit again. After I eat it still expands but in the morning its pretty small. And it is so nice not to be so bloated all the time.
The cake will be cut around 2:30 if everyone is here by then. I will post a picture to tumblr right after that.

This cake is crazy. I have never baked one from scratch let alone a 5 gradient layer one. I had to go 4 different stores just to find food coloring WTF! I think I am going to make one of these at Charlies first birthday but do a rainbow one. How is your weekend going?
