I had my monthly visit to the ob office today. They last like 5 mins. They take my blood pressure (120/74) and then ask how I am feeling. Today we listened to the heartbeat for about 10 seconds. That is all. Well that and he told me to come in next week to check my cervical length. I had surgery on it so they want to make sure it is doing its job. I go in on Monday and then every 1 to 2 weeks after that for a scan. It is done in office so I hope it is deemed medically necessary and the insurance will cover it. Other than that I go back in one month.  

UPDATE: a very wise lady let me know I forgot about the bringing in a urine sample, this happens every time too.

  3. softcaressofhappiness said: You Forgot to add the pee cup! Depressing, but unless they have to do anything special all visits will be this way. The same routine. Wait time longer than exam time. They must love it when my response is “not today” to “do you have any questions?”
